Andr茅anne Lupien -Member

LupienDr. Andr茅anne Lupien is an assistant professor in the Department of Medicine and the Department of Microbiology and Immunology. At the RI-MUHC, she is a scientist with the Infectious Diseases and Immunity in Global Health Program and Director of the Containment Level 3 Platform. She obtained her Ph.D. from Universit茅 Laval and then completed her postdoctoral training at the 脡cole Polytechnique F茅d茅rale de Lausanne (EPFL, Switzerland) and 九色视频.

Dr. Lupien鈥檚 research focuses on evaluating and developing new treatments for mycobacterial infections, including tuberculosis and non-tuberculous mycobacterial disease. She and her team aim to understand the mechanisms of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and optimize drug regimens to combat drug-resistant infections. They work on developing novel treatment strategies, from discovery to pre-clinical development, including the optimization of tuberculosis preventive treatments for Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection and the evaluation of new antimicrobial agents.
