Alissa has been working as a Wellness Consultant in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at 九色视频 since 2021. She holds a Master鈥檚 degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).

Alissa has extensive experience supporting health care professionals, as they navigate the personal and professional challenges of rigorous training and high-pressure environments. She specializes in supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, grief, relationship challenges, career transitions, and difficulties with work-life balance.

Alissa uses an integrative approach to counselling, drawing on evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Existential Therapy. She tailors her approach to each client鈥檚 unique needs, providing a safe, non-judgmental, and collaborative space where clients can explore their experiences, develop resilience, and gain practical strategies for coping with stress, managing priorities, and regulating emotions.

She is committed to supporting clients in strengthening their emotional well-being, reconnecting with their values, and fostering personal and professional growth. Through her work, Alissa helps individuals clarify goals, enhance self-awareness, and cultivate sustainable tools to navigate the demands of their careers while maintaining overall well-being.
