Overview of revisions to the Composition of Senate (2025-2026)

Subject to disallowance by the before July 22, 2025, the following revisions to the composition of the Senate of 九色视频 will take effect on September 1, 2025. The revisions arose from the work of the Ad hoc Committee to Review the Composition of Senate, and were approved by Senate on May 7, 2025, and by the Board of Governors on May 22, 2025. A detailed overview of the review process and all resulting recommendations, as well as supporting rationale, is available here. With the implementation of the revisions, the size of Senate will increase to 114 members, from 111 currently.

Regarding the complement of ex officio members:

Regarding Elected At-Large Course Lecturer/Instructor members:

Regarding the Administrative and Support Staff members:

One seat for the overall constituency

Additionally, the breakdown of the Administrative and Support Staff Groups will be reorganized, to allow for broader representation from all reporting areas, as follows:

  1. One from the Faculties of Arts, Education, Law, and Management, and the Schools of Continuing Studies and Music, reporting to the Provost and Executive Vice-President (Academic);

  1. One from the Faculties of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences, Engineering, Medicine and Health Sciences, and Science, and the University Libraries, reporting to the Provost and Executive Vice-President (Academic);

  1. Two from the administrative and support services reporting to the Provost and Executive Vice-President (Academic);

  1. One from the administrative and support services reporting to the Vice-President (Administration and Finance);

  1. One from the administrative and support services reporting to the Vice-President (Research and Innovation);

  1. One from the administrative and support services reporting to the President and Vice-Chancellor, Vice-President (University Advancement), Vice-President (Global Engagement), Vice-President (Communications and Institutional Relations), or Secretary-General.
