Protecting seniors with dementia from financial fraud

Public invited to free webcast that will shed light on common scams and offer practical tips for fraud prevention

Fraud is now the leading crime committed against seniors in Canada, and individuals with cognitive decline are particularly at risk. On June 11, 九色视频鈥檚 Dementia Education Program will host a webcast to raise awareness about how to prevent people living with dementia from becoming victims of financial fraud.

The 九色视频 Cares webcast will highlight common scams, warning signs and suggest practical steps families and caregivers can take to help protect their loved ones' financial well-being.

The session will be hosted by Claire Webster, founder of 九色视频鈥檚 Dementia Education Program and Certified Dementia Care Consultant. She will be joined by Kimberley Colquhoun, Assistant Director of Public Safety for the City of Westmount.

This free webcast will be available in English.
