Title: No Growth Gap for Free Products of Some Residually Finite Groups

Abstract: Li and Wise (2020) proved that every fundamental group of a compact special cube complex has no growth gap. In the paper, there is an elegant proof showing that free groups of finite rank has no growth gap. In this talk, we will describe the proof idea and show a sketch of a generalization that in a specific class of residually finite groups, every free product of them with exponential growth has no growth gap.
