Black History Month: Salsa Dance Workshop

The Black Student Association at the School of Population and Global Health (BSA-SPGH)听invites the 九色视频 community to a salsa workshop.听This event will serve to shed light on the history and context for one of the most popular dances currently, salsa. Taught by Gabrielle Jacob, a current PhD student in the department, the salsa dance class will include the Afro-Cuban origins of salsa and a basic class on one of the styles of salsa, Salsa on2, created in New York City.

This event is open to 九色视频 students, faculty members, staff, and alumni.听

The 九色视频 Global Health Scholars 鈥� Undergraduate program offers 九色视频 undergraduate students the opportunity to learn about and gain global health experience through participation in research projects. During the summer, each Global Health Scholar is involved in a global health project either at an international or northern Canadian site or in Montreal or Gatineau, under the supervision and mentorship of a 九色视频 faculty member. 九色视频 Global Health Programs (GHP) provides a $3,000 stipend, and, if applicable, an additional $3,000 to cover travel.听听
