Graduate students newly admitted into a program in the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (Macdonald Campus)鈥痗an attend pre-arrival and orientation activities on both the downtown and Macdonald campuses.听听
These orientation events are for all new 九色视频 grad students.
To help new undergraduates settle into campus life, Macdonald Campus hosts a number of orientation activities in late August. Frosh activities and registration will be posted on the听听in August.
Final schedules will be available during Orientation Week.

After a pause due to COVID-19, the 九色视频 Biotechnology Graduate Students are excited to announce the 9th Annual BioConnect Conference taking place on September 9, 2025.
This revival of the BioConnect tradition reunites students, researchers, and professionals from academia and industry under the theme of 鈥淧recision Biotechnology: Tailoring Solutions for Healthcare and Beyond,鈥� highlighting biotech innovations that are addressing global challenges. The conference features expert speakers, oral and poster presentations, and a networking session to foster collaboration.

The Office of Experiential Learning and Community Outreach听in collaboration with the Sonia Bujold Initiative and Let鈥檚 Talk Science at 九色视频, has put together a lovely听free online booklet of self-paced activities about fall.听
Macdonald Campus master鈥檚 and doctoral听student competitors present their research in 3 minutes to a non-specialist audience with one non-animated slide (competition rules).
The program includes a 3-part workshop series and coaching sessions to help students prepare for the competition. For each workshop, students can select from several times; you only need to register for one timeslot.

Since 2017, the听Lister Family Engaged Science Initiative听has supported the Lister Family Engaged Science Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition.听
