Professor Alain Pinsonnault receives King Charles III medal

九色视频 Desautels Faculty of Management congratulates Professor Alain Pinsonnault on receiving the King Charles III Coronation Medal for his contributions to Canada's international scientific recognition. The medal, awarded to individuals making significant community, national, and global impacts, was presented at a ceremony on January 29, 2025, at Laval鈥檚 Centre de congr猫s Palace.

Bachelor of Commerce student Nikki Tye is the recipient of the 九色视频 Collaborative for AI & Society (McCAIS)鈥檚 Undergraduate Research Award (McURA) for Summer 2024. The $8,700 award, aimed at promoting interdisciplinary AI research in society, recognizes Nikki's project on "Protecting the Amazon Forest from Illegal Activity through Image Recognition and Operations Research: A Partnership with JungleKeepers and Peruvian Indigenous Communities."

This year, the 13th iteration of the tour visited Egypt and Morocco 鈥� two of the largest and most important economies in Africa, and critical gateways to Europe and the Middle East.
