Dr. Campbell鈥檚 research centres on generating evidence to inform the design and implementation of novel tuberculosis prevention and care strategies that maximize public health impact while minimizing health system and patient costs. His work focuses on optimizing the identification and treatment of tuberculosis infection to prevent progression to active disease, with particular emphasis on prevention among individuals born outside of Canada, a population disproportionately affected by tuberculosis. He is also interested in the long-term health, social, and financial outcomes among tuberculosis survivors and in identifying effective approaches to mitigate these impacts.听
